Elliot Gordon has practiced toxicology since 1972. His first job was at the Frederick Cancer Research Center in Frederick, Maryland and subsequently he has worked at Contract Research Organizations (CROs) as well as chemical and pesticide companies.

He opened his consultancy in 2005.
